The screenshot below shows the Insight panel with the “All” layout selected at the top of the Navigation Panel. With the Summary tab selected you will see an array of information associated with the row selected in the table. In this example you can see a ticker selected and it displays the info related to this ticker.
The screenshot below shows the Summary tab with “Insight” selected at the top of the Navigation Panel. This shows the panel fully expanded and you are able to view the information about the selected ticker on one large view.
Displayed in the screenshot below, with a portfolio selected the summary tab info changes and shows the top movers and the portfolio allocation pie chart broken down by equity type.
The portfolio allocation allows you to drill down on the Stock allocation and get even deeper to see the allocation broken down by sector as well, as shown in the screenshot below.
In addition to the pie chart you can access the tables showing the allocations based on Asset, Sectors, World Regions, and Stock Style Diversification, as shown in the screenshot below.
Research Reports provides a comprehensive summary on any of the 7000+ stocks we track in Stock Rover on the U.S. and Canadian exchanges. Research reports can be viewed in your browser and can be produced in PDF format for portability and sharing.
You can run the report from the Insight Panel as shown below via the red arrows.

If the selected ticker has any notes associated with it, the number of notes for the ticker will be displayed as shown below. You can view and edit the notes by clicking on the bolded blue text, as highlighted below.

The Investor Warnings Facility component is designed to make investors aware of certain characteristics of a given stock that makes it riskier and less desirable from an investment standpoint. The issues Stock Rover finds are things that are hard to notice or would require a lot of manual work to figure out. Please see the screenshot below to see where to view the warnings.

As seen in the screenshot below, the Insight Panel offers Fair Value, Margin of Safety and Score metrics in the panel.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Summary tab in the Insight Panel, you will find a list of links to outside investment research websites. Clicking on a link brings you to that website in another tab in your browser. When applicable, you will be taken directly to that stock’s page.
When a website listed requires a login, a cash icon appears next to the website name (circled in red in the screenshot below)
To add another link to this list, click the ‘Manage’ button at the top of the section. See image below.
This will bring up the Research Links window, which has a list of all links built into Stock Rover, as well as those currently included under your Links. To add a link to your links section, highlight it on the left and hit the ‘Add’ button.
If you’d like to add a link that is not already in the system, click the ‘Add Custom Link’ button at the top. This will bring up a window where where you can enter either a fixed URL or a URL that will respond to the selected ticker. For a ticker-responsive URL, use a dollar sign in place of the ticker symbol in the URL. Then, clicking on that link will bring you to specific information about whatever ticker you have selected in Stock Rover.
To edit an existing link, highlight the link under the ‘Your Links’ section in the Research Links window and click the ‘Modify’ button at the bottom.
This will bring up a window where you can edit the link name and URL, as well as test it to make sure it works.
Insider Transactions are available in the Insight Panel in the Research Links section under the Summary tab. Within Research Link section, click on the “Yahoo Insider Transactions” link, as shown in the screenshot below.
The Premium Plus plan has unlimited access to stock scores and warnings. The Premium subscription plan provides for access to 20 distinct stock tickers per month. With the Essentials plan you can see scores and warnings on 10 distinct stock tickers per month.
For the Premium and Essentials plans, as shown in the screenshot below, if you have tickers available then the lock will be green. If you want to unlock this ticker you will click on the lock and it will display the values. You will then have access to this ticker for the month.
As seen in the screenshot below, if you have reached your limit the lock will be grey and you are unable to unlock the ticker until the following month.
