The Drag and Drop feature makes it easy to move items around and organize Stock Rover in the way that you like.
You can also use drag and drop to add tickers to the Chart or to Portfolios or Watchlists. And you can reorganize your View structure using drag and drop.
When we select Portfolios, Watchlists, or Screeners, under My Collections we can and reorder the panel display by dragging and dropping a specific item or folder.
To reorder the Navigation Panel, click and hold down the mouse on an item or folder and drag and drop to a different position.
Here we are moving a portfolio to a different folder.
Here we are reordering the folders under Portfolios.
Using Drag and Drop we can reorder the Active Quotes list.
Using Drag and Drop we can easily move columns within the Table. We can also change the order of the rows.
To drag a column in the Table, just click and hold a column header to move that column to a new spot.
To drag a row in the Table, click on its ticker or name cell (leftmost column) and hold down the mouse to drag and drop the row into a different position.
We can use drag and drop to add items to the Chart.
Here we used multi-select to choose tickers in the Table to plot together. To add the selected items to the chart click on a selected ticker in the Tickers column and hold down the mouse and drag to the Chart.
We can also drag and drop a ticker from the Table into a watchlist or portfolio.
We’ll first want to make sure the Watchlists and/or Portfolios folders are expanded under World.
When we drag a ticker into a portfolio, we’ll be prompted to enter a quantity, with options to modify the buy price and date.
Here we are using drag and drop to add a ticker from a watchlist to a portfolio.
Using Drag and Drop we can reorder the Views and the View Folders.
A common use case is to create a Favorites folder and to drag and drop the views we use most often into the folder.
To reorder the views and view folders, click and hold down the mouse and drop to a different position.
