Monthly Returns Heatmap

Overview

The Monthly Returns Heatmap section shows your portfolios’ monthly returns.

The portfolios you’d like to see in the display are selected on the left, and the time period is selected at the top.

Heatmap

The heatmap helps identify seasonality patterns, trends, and differences in portfolio performance over time. You can also compare your portfolio monthly performance against the S&P 500.

A color gradient is used to highlight return values:

• Green for positive returns (darker green for higher gains).
• Red for negative returns (darker red for larger losses).
• Neutral colors (e.g., white or light gray) for near-zero returns.
