The Stock Rover main window consists of multiple components or panels, some of which are interdependent, as shown below.
1. The Multipurpose Toolbar from left to right, the toolbar includes the Stock Rover logo, which if clicked, opens a new browser tab that links to the Stock Rover homepage, breadcrumb navigation, a ticker search box, Quotes list, market information, and an account settings drop down menu that is labeled with your account name.
2. The Start Menu contains all of Stock Rover’s features and capabilities are accessible from the grey Start Menu on the left.
3. The Navigation Panel is populated based on the dataset selected under My Collections in the Start Menu (i.e., Portfolios, Watchlists, Screeners, or World).
4. The Action Panel is unique to Portfolios, Watchlists, and Screeners and contains shortcuts to common Portfolio, Watchlist, and Screener functions as well help topics.
5. The Layout Selector tells Stock Rover how research results are to be laid out – whether to display the Table, the Chart, the Insight Panel, or All three layouts.
