Very informative article. The explanation of GAAP and Non-GAAP EPS is good, but which type of EPS is used by StockRover and why do they prefer using one versus the other? Reply
Hello Jeff, The short answer is that as soon as GAAP figures are made public, Stock Rover will use them. For more details, please visit https://www.stockrover.com/blog/stock-research/earnings-reports-in-stock-rover. GAAP is preferable over non-GAAP 1. GAAP ensures that financial statements are consistent over time and comparable to those of other companies. 2. GAAP-compliant statements are subject to strict auditing standards. 3. Standardization: By offering consistency in terms of recognizing income, expenses, and other items, GAAP removes uncertainty.
Hi Stockrover Team: This is a clear and valuable white-paper on technical analysis and using SR. I have a suggestion that perhaps would not be difficult to implement. When I study your white papers, I like to have SR open so I can produce the same graph/analysis that is being discussed; sort of “hands=on” reading. I am not an expert in SR (new user). In some cases I can’t configure SR to match the graph or table that is being presented and discussed. Would it be possible to include in future articles, the “keystrokes-commands” or “board-moves” in SR that are needed to generate the graph or table? The “commands” could be organized below the table or graph caption. Thanks in advance for considering this!!!! Reply
Marcus, Thank you for the feedback. This is something we can certainly consider. Alternatively, we could consider dovetailing with a brief video depending on the content.
